Association
meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Kearny. New meeting location is in
the room on the north side of the library. Thanks to Kearny administration for their gracious offering to allow us the use of the facilities. The July and August meetings are off campus. There is no
meeting in December. The locations for
these meetings are usually at Taft Middle School.
Next Meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM (by the library at
Kearny High School) -

Alumni Association 2012 Golf Tournament (Everyone & Friends Welcome)
KHS Supporters,
It’s time to mark your calendars for the Sunday June 3, 2012 golf outing.
8AM shotgun start.
We need to collect information on Hole Sponsors, Raffle prizes and of
course the number of players and those who chose to just come for the
luncheon. The past four years we have seen significant increase in our
numbers, and we expect more to attend this year. Remember, one doesn’t
have to have gone to Kearny to play!

Golf Tournament - The annual golf
tournament will be held
at Cottonwood Country Club Sunday June 3 2012. It starts at 8:00AM
with a shotgun start. Format is a 4 (wo)man scramble. Cost
is $400 for a foursome or $110 per person. This includes range
balls, golf cart and a meal after the tournament. For

Sale … Last one was April 26, 2003. Next one TBA. Please keep the
Alumni Association in mind before getting rid of those "treasures". This next one has lots of 'promise' as many members realize how much space they could find in their garages and closets.
Distinguished Kearny Komets Hall of Fame Awards Dinner
ALL Kearny Komets are welcome to attend this dinner!
All Kearny Komets are invited and encouraged to attend this dinner to present the Distinguished Kearny Komets Hall of Fame awards. The location is at the Kearny gymnasium. Mark your calendars for Saturday April, 21, 2012 from 5PM to 10PM with dinner served at 6PM. There is a nominal cost of only $25 for the dinner (purchased before April 16).
